Whew we’ve made it through Thanksgiving and now its time for my favorite part…CHRISTMAS! I can not wait for the holiday parties, ugly sweaters, hot chocolate and Destiny’s Child- 8 Days of Christmas on Repeat!
So, in preparation, its time to start wearing those colors that make us feel the warmth of holiday cheer. Wine is the one color that is a fan favorite during the fall, pretty much every fall, for the last like… five falls! I love how the color of your grandma’s favorite knit sweater once known as burgundy is now the refined and oh so trendy “wine.” But hey, Im here for it! (The color & the beverage…haha!) Remember when I told you that maxi dresses are not only exclusive to summer, well this dress proves me right! Oh and did I mention its a wrap dress? or in this case a floor length duster. Yep, I love pieces that can be repurposed to create a whole new look. This wrap dress originally worn here served as the perfect “cover up” for my sleeveless sweater dress, and finished off my monochromatic (a trend I am obsessed with BTW) madness. Pairing my “wine” with the crowd favorite over the knee boot, I created a look that is the perfect introduction to the Holiday Season.
