Ugh! Fall is only a few days away, and although I live for fall fashion, I am not looking forward to saying goodbye to summer. Luckily, there are a few breezy, yet warm (You know those confusing days, when half of the subway car is still in sandals and the other half has moved on to booties, yup those!) days left before its time to pull out the faux fur.
Okay, lets transition!
Three of my favorite things that are transitioning to fall with me are 1. prints, 2. fringe and 3. leggggssss! This look helped me capture all three. If you thought maxi dresses were just for summer…WRONG think again. This dress is perfect for fall….and heres why.
It features long sleeves (perfect for when the sun is going down), darker shades of the vibrant colors we love, (this way we can keep color around in the fall) and prints that we can’t get enough of. My favorite thing about this dress is the thigh high split that reminds us of those leg baring days of summer. While transitioning, I am figuring out how to include some of my favorite summer trends & Maxi dresses will definitely be a fall staple for me!
