HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
It has certainly been a while since my last post but I am back and ready to take on 2014!
This is the time to step outside of your comfort zone and take things to the next level. #nextlevel is on of my many mottoes this year. I plan to step it up in every aspect of my life. “The best is yet to come.”
Im still in the cheerful holiday spirit and this Forever 21 Black and Gold Tapestry skirt is a reflection of that. As you may know I am a big fan of pleats so I could not pass this up. I love the design and metallic pattern, so festive. The skirt is such a statement piece in itself so I decided to pair it with a simple back turtle neck sweater and black knee high boots. I am so not a fan of turtle necks, but they are definitely a way to keep warm in these brutal NYC temperatures. These wedge boots are extremely comfortable and the pointed toe gives them a chic finish. To compliment the gold in the skirt I accessorized with a long gold chain necklace and gold hoop earnings. The necklace is actually a belt that came with a pair of pants, but I like it better as a necklace.
