Summer has officially ended and I am deeply heart broken. I am so not a fan of the cold weather.
With 75 degree weather in NYC, I figured this would be my last chance to wear a true summer look.
When I saw this dress, my eyes lit up, and as I raced to the dressing room with it I noticed it was a size 14. I just knew then it would not fit. Imagine my surprise when it did! My advice is to always try things on even if its not your size. Depending on the material or designer, many things can fit differently. It was a perfect fit. My favorite thing about it was the color, and I just could not wait to wear it. But, somehow this mint green dress has been hanging in my closet all summer long, so I thought it would be the perfect way to say goodbye to summer. The dress has a classic baby doll fit, flared at the bottom and fitted at the top. Its vintage embellishments include there columns of lace. 
The built in tie belt is actually designed to tie in the back, but I figured I would look childish, so I decided to tie it in the front instead. Tie belts are usually meant to be tied in a bow, but again I thought that would be childish so I knotted it instead. As the dress hangs it forms its own natural pleats.
At the foot I wore blue and Aztec printed sandals.
I accessorized with a mustard sling bag. Its been one of my favorites all summer!
