Yall know I am a lip stick lovin’ twenty somethin’, (as my bio says) but really I am obsessed! No good “beat” is complete without a popping lippie to seal the deal. Check out some of my favorite go to fall lip sticks.
For some reason people think fall is reserved for dark lips only, but I think all lipstick anytime. Here Im wearing MAC’s Viva Glam Rihanna 2. It has a warm tone with a silver frost. I wanted to highlight the silver so I concealed my lips to create an even palette, and allow the true color to be revealed. I then lightly lined my lips with a black liner to create a soft smoky grey.
Purple is my absolute favorite shade of lipstick. I love all colors shades and tones of purple. I am a sucker for a dark lip, and for this look it was the perfect finish. For this look I used a deep purple liner all over my lips. Then I lightly applied the NYX Immortal lipstick for a glossy yet polished finish.
Continuing with my obsession with purple lipstick, this one is one of m favs. Its the Make Up Forever Rouge Artist Intense 15. The color is a smooth pearly violet. This is a low maintenance stick that requires very little effort when applying. The color appears radiant and immediately after one complete application. It also stands alone, without the need of liner, concealer or any other enhancements.
Deep Mauves, wines, and dark brown colors are a fall lipstick staple. I applied a matte Kate Red to create a smooth foundation. I then blended a NYX Dark Brown Liner until I achieved a deep brown with a hint of wine. Matte lipsticks are best for mixing with liners to create or intensify lip colors.
