Curvy Girl in a Corporate World…
“If Olivia Pope was plus sized….oh what a show that would be.”
I am a huge fan of the hit series Scandal, so when Stylish Curves posted pieces on how to look like Miss Pope with curves, I had to join in on the fun. If you are a curvy girl in a corporate world, it can sometimes be an annoying task to find flattering business casual pieces. Luckily, I have a job that allows business or casual attire. But if you need more ideas on looks for your corporate curves, you should also check out Stylish Curves for more office looks in her section “Work Wear Wednesdays.”
Of course I had to put my own spin on this edition of “Office Werk!” From the infamous white coat to her classic pointed toe pumps, Miss Pope nails it in every scene. I decided to go with a classic grey dress, which is a traditional corporate color. The built in leather belt is the reason I bought it. I love this scoop neck form fitted dress because it accentuates the curves. At the foot I chose a pair of snake skin pumps to add a bit of my personality to the look. I am pretty sure Miss Pope would never wear snake skin in the White House, but it is definitely my style. White is the new power color, so lastly I finished my look with a white tote and coat to match. Here is more of my Scandal inspired Office Werk!
