Cool as a Fall Breeze

Today I felt cool, not just in a cool mood, but as in  atmosphere, and what color is more “Cooler” than the color “Blue.” I think its because with everyday that goes by I am more and more cool with being me.

I am in love with blazers this fall, and this is one of my favorites. I’ve actual had it for a while and I love the mixture of colors. I did a “First of Fall”  post a few months ago that featured another one of my favorite blazers. Hmmm… I think I’ll do a “Blazer Look Book.” Blazers are the perfect transitional piece. The right blazer could be the difference between making a look dressy or casual. During fall you never know when its going to be too warm of too cool, so a blazer is the perfect way to layer up or ”un-layer.”  I like to think of it as an accessory. Blazers are quick simple and stylish.  I am the type of girl that likes to be dressed for the day because sometimes I leave work and go straight to social events, etc. This look will work before and after 5.

I chose to wear all black underneath the blazer so that the focus would be on the cool blue. I wore these oh so comfortable turquoise wedges because they compliment the blue tones in the blazer. I also thought the ruffles in the top and the ruffles in the shoe complimented each other well.  Ruffles are actually one of my favorite wardrobe embellishments, they make everything look flirty and fun. My leather leggings gave my look a bit of texture and versatility.
