One of my favorite things about living in New York City is stumbling across simple treasures. From graffiti walls, to colorful murals, amazing views, and secret passage ways, (ill explain later…haha) there is always something new to discover. If you follow me Instagram (shame on you if you don’t!) then you are familiar with my posts that feature my “Mid-Week Casual Vibes.” There is something about #HumpDay that is calm and relaxing. The anxiety of Monday & Tuesday is behind us and the excitement for the weekend has yet to kick in. As a reflection of #WindDownWednesday, I’m usually not in the mood to get too dressed up. Nothing says casual more than a flawlessly fitted pair of jeans and a basic tee. This combination has and will always be an effortlessly chic duo. But of course, I wouldn’t be Kala if I didn’t take it just a notch above causal. C’mon you guys know I only own like three pair of sneakers. (Ok…maybe just two.) So let’s have a moment for these sandals. I am obsessed with the modern look yet retro appeal.
