Its something about a having a great weekend that prepares you for the “MonDaze.” Instead of the dreaded Monday blues we anticipate, a fulfilling weekend has the power to jump start your work week.
Over the weekend I attended “Cocktails with Claire,” a networking a event hosted by Claire of Fashion Bomb Daily. Knowing that I would be surrounded by powerful Fashion & Entertainment professionals, I wanted to look the part. You know dress for the job you want, not the one you have. I decided to “suit up” for success. Black & white is my absolute favorite color combo, (as you all know) so I reached for these checkered trousers. Bringing a piece of my personality to a professional look, and adding to the monochromatic madness, I wanted to play with shapes and textures. Nothing screams “she’s about her business” like a waist coast, so it was the finishing touch.Consider me suited!
