Sometimes you have to reach in the back of your closet and pull out that “Oldie but Goodie!” This tropical print jumpsuit was all the rage last summer, and it accompanied me on my girls get away in Miami. The bold colors, and easy light weight material made it the perfect vacation piece. When I noticed it was back by popular demand, I gave it another spin. Instead of walking the streets of Manhattan I should be somewhere on a Tropical Island, that’s more fitting for this jumpsuit. But, for now the concrete jungle will just have to do.
As I stood confidently in this jumper I couldn’t help but smile as I reflected on my style journey. I remember a time, not too many years ago, when I would NEVER wear my arms out, and my back was certainly out of the question. Now look at me, standing here freely & fearlessly back and sleeveless! I encourage you to embrace your insecurities. You never know, they may become a thing of the pass.
Aside from the comfortable fit, the thing I love most about this Jumpsuit is the black waist band and black tuxedo stripe. I think it’s something special about bold designs that mange to add an ounce of simplicity. To highlight that simplicity I finished my look with my favorite pair of black platform heels. I’m sure this look will stick around in my wardrobe for more summers to come!
