“Never let em’ know your next move.” – The Notorious B.I.G.
53 degrees in NYC in the middle of one of the coldest winters ever?!?!?!? WHATTT? That is a heat wave! lol well not really but it was the perfect “sweater weather.” Saturday was a beautiful day and I was headed to one of my Favorite Blogger’s Everything Curvy and Chic ‘s “Curves and Mimosas Brunch.
As much as I love fashion and style, I’m not the girl who has to have the hottest newest thing as soon as it hits the stores. I scored this Philip Lim dress from the Target collection about a month ago, which was months after the collection launched. I love sweater dresses, they are so comfortable and casual. I call this one a sweater dress with a bit of flare because of its sheer flowy tale. I dug in the back of my closet and pulled out a pair of chunky grey Mary Jane heels that I’ve been having foreverrrr and never wore! (Don’t judge me) I am a huge fan of thick chunky heels because they are extremely comfortable.
These little Marry Janes were the perfect addition to this dress. To compliment the cool grey in the dress and shoes I accessorized with a white coat and hand bag creating a cool casual look on a gorgeous day.
Dress: Philip Lim for Target
Coat: Old Navy
Shoes: DSW (old)
Purse: Forever21
P.S. This was a really good hair day for me! & I will begin natural hair blogging soon! Stay tuned! 🙂
