My Morning Skincare Routine

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had problematic skin. I suffered through teenage acne and even as an adult a pimple randomly appears right before a big day. Finding a skin-care regiment that helps solve some of those problems has been a bit of a challenge. But luckily, with patience and persistence I’ve developed a routine that has significantly improved some of my skin problems. Press play below and Get Ready With Me (In the Shower) as I take you through my Morning Skin Care Routine.

3 PRODUCTS TO CURE YOUR TOP SKINCARE ISSUES:
1. Dryness: My skin is consistently thirsty for moisture, but some moisturizers are heavy and leave my skin feeling oily and looking shinny. I find that using a nourishing bar of soap as a mild cleanser in the morning locks in moisture through out the day. My go-to is the Kenet MD massage bar. I love how the massage grooves gently cleanse my skin leaving it soft and moisturized.
2. Dark Spots & Hyper-pigmentationDark spots left over from pimples is like their little evil way of saying, “I was here!” (Insert Evil Laugh) Trying to get rid of these spots have been my most challenging skin care issue as an adult. I’ve tried creams, peels, and deep cleansing tools, but nothing would work. Finally, I’ve found that serums that contain mostly natural ingredients help best with this issue. Because my dark spots are my most problematic skincare issue, I use a serum day and night. My morning routine includes a highly concentrated face treatment by Nourish Organic. This product has tremendously improved my skin tone while helping retain clarity.
3. Refined Pores: A mask is a must in my skin care routine. I like to use a Mask at least once a week, but lately I’ve began completing a mask twice a week. Mask help minimize my pores, as well as reduce redness. After consulting with an aesthetician, I discovered that we apply mask all wrong. The average person uses a mask at night before going to bed. However masks are most effective when used in the morning during or right after you shower. This way the steam has opened your pores and the ingredients of the mask can go to  work more effectively. Incorporating a mask into my morning routine has completed transformed my face.  My completion is clearer and my breakouts are less frequent.
