First of Fall

For some reason people associate fall with dark and drabby  colors. Maybe its because people associate cold weather with darkness, hmmm I don’t know, its just an assumption. Spring and Fall are my two favorite seasons. I like to think of it as the perfect mix of hot and cold, so my wardrobe choices  reflect that “perfect mix.” I am really into blazers this fall. They are the perfect transitional piece. The right blazer could be the difference between making a look dressy or casual. During fall you never know when its going to be too warm of too cool, so a blazer is the perfect way to layer up or “un-layer.”  I like to think of it as an accessory. Blazers are quick simple and stylish.  Orange and Midnight Blue were my pops of color for this look. I paired this blazer with orange pants to make the orange in the blazer stand out more.  The orange pants actually have a natural relaxed fit with a flared leg. I wanted more of a straight leg effect, so I created the illusion that they were scrunch leg pants. I simply took a rubber band a placed at the end of the pant leg. I then folded the bottom neatly until it looked more fitted. I went with a neutral colored tan cami to make it all come together. At the foot I went with a blue heel with a black platform, which was perfect compliment for the different shades of blue in the blazer.  What cool colors are you looking forward to incorporating in your fall wardrobe?
