DIY Crochet Faux Locs

Faux Locs of all textures and types have been all the rage for a while now. And just like any other natural hair trend, its only a matter of time before people find unique and creative ways to achieve the look. While vacationing in Tulum Mexico, I wanted to wear a protective style to keep my curls aways from the harsh effects of swimming every day. I’ve also been wanting to try this style, but frankly didn’t want to spend the money to have a stylist install them. We live in a “Do It Yourself World,”  so I rolled up my sleeves and went to work. This style is fun and versatile as you can incorporate so many different looks with the Faux Locs.  Instead of using the traditional process of installing one Loc at a time, I used the crocheting method. The process was quick and easy and I am really pleased with the results.
