Connect the Dots!

Ok, so lately I’ve had some sort of Polka-Dot Obsession! Polka Dots were once a thing of the past, and if you were over the age of 10 it was not acceptable to wear them. But the beauty of fashion is that things have away of coming back bigger and better. Many people encourage plus size women to stay a way from bold prints and patterns, such as polka dots and stripes. But I prefer to do the exact opposite and embrace them. Somehow a plethora of polka dots have landed in my wardrobe, ranging from all sizes and colors. For this look I decided to “Connect the Dots,” and create a polkadot on polkadot color combination. The lavender polka dot wrap skirt is actually apart of a two piece I purchased together. The Fuchsia polkadot top has almost the exact pattern of dots as the skirt. To add definition at the waist I belted this look with a thick four inch black belt. I accessorized with a gold necklace and gold embellished sandals.
