I think you all know how obsessed I am with color. Well just in case you don’t, let me remind you, I am OBSESSED with color! Lol Color has the power to make any look come alive, and in the case of this ensemble, the birds came alive. I wore this outfit to The CurvyCon this weekend and these birds were the talk of the town. I actually think people liked them better than they did the outfit. The compliments I received were the exact reason why I fell in love with this top. Its vibrant, statement making, and all out fun! I love how the bird designs look hand painted and individually crafted. Fashion is a work or art, and this top depicts that. Although I fell in love at first sight, I remember thinking, “Now what am I going to wear with that?” I like to have fun with my wardrobe and think outside of the box. At first glance many would consider this top overwhelming, or too much. But, it was the perfect style challenge for me.
I wore a pair of simple white shorts to further highlight the top and elongate my legs. The real party came with my cobalt blue envelope clutch and gladiator heels. These two are a perfect match. When I spotted these shoes I Gagggggeddd! I’m such a shoe girl and I had to have these. Gladiators are having a major moment this season so I added this strappy pump that features a pointed toe, & lace up back to my collection.
